Kids can also prepare a delicious treat for Dad on Father’s Day! Here is an easy recipe that requires no baking nor cooking. Even little hands can do it!
Serradura is a yummy portugese dessert which literally means “sawdust”. It’s so good and so easy to prepare, you and your kids can make this anytime. Just whip, mix, refrigerate and sprinkle!
Ingredients for 3-4 servings:
1 cup whipping cream
1/4 cup condensed milk
2-3 packs Marie biscuits
OPTIONAL: 1/4-1/2 tsp vanilla
Preparation:
Step 1: Whisk cold whipping cream on
high speed until soft peaks form.
This should take about 2-3 minutes.
Step 2: You can now add the condensed milk.
As an option, you can add vanilla for extra flavor.
Mix on low speed for about 20 seconds
until both ingredients are combined.
Step 3: Pour them in your favorite dessert bowls
and refrigerate for about 4 hours.
Step 4: Crush biscuits in a food processor
until powdery. When ready to serve,
generously sprinkle the crushed biscuits
on top of the cream mix.
